Dots & Loops

I think this album may have just taken over Cobra as my favourite Stereolab LP. Almost every song is a STONE-COLD CLASSIC. It's ridiculous how great it is. Miss Modular just never gets old. Diagonals is my current fave, mind. Utter brilliance.

my experience went the opposite. d&l used to be my favorite but after an extensive listening of cobra i couldn't go back to put d&l as my most loved one anymore. half of the songs from that album make it to my most favorite songs list.i think the major difference of the two album is, d&l seems to be more cohesive while cobra's songs stand out a lot uniquely on their own...it is hard to explain that feeling about music.

glad you have joined those of us who beleive DL is the best lab album. there is something quite ambient and atmospheric about it but damn catchy and pop all at the same time. and it was the soundtrack to the summer in which i graduated high school. musical best and a sentimental favourite to boot! a tick in every box.

The only thing that could make it better for me is if "Refractions" were left off the album and released as an accompanying EP.

i like refractions but wish it was broken up into tracks. sometimes i just wanna listen to one section. sometimes, all of them.
