Yes, we are. It's the only time in 7" record buying history anyone was pleased to have a warped record land on their doormat. They were meant to be destroyed because they were warped/badly pressed BUT, BUT, 200 'got out' and found their way to France, or something. Mine ended up in Switzerland and is now nestled in beside its equally sized Labby cousins in my record rack. It's a piece of Stereolab folklore. Its an essential purchase, man! :) |

basil too wrote: A fascinating turn of events. A 10 day auction, that was originally due to end on the 30th September at 10:50:15 BST, has ended as a 5 day auction with a winning bid of £156.00 at 13:06:24 BST. Can't see the usual "bidding was finished early due to blah blah blah". Hmmm. Comments anyone? RevASS ~8^)> |

Wow. I've always wondered if the lab have a little stash of these old ones to sell later in their lives, like an investment. |

That's a really top price for the seller. I wonder if the seller has spun the thing. These records were meant to be destroyed due to warping. A record can appear visually 'mint', but be useless when placed on a turntable. |
