Oh yeah, I forgot about that...I don't know are they still protected? I thought they were free now.

I'll gladly buy it twice! It's worth it for the initial instant gratification and eventually to have the awesome artwork, liner notes, etc.
Shit, I bought Chemical Chords 3 friggin times w/o hesitation.

I'm with LBO on this one. I know I will buy the hard copy when available, I don't feel I should be expected to spend an additional $8 for a crappy digital only copy.

I gotta respectfully disagree with you guys on this one. Nobody asked you to buy it twice. If you don't want the "crappy digital only copy", then just wait for the hard copy. It's just plain stealing to do otherwise. Give the artist some respect; we're talking about Broadcast, not Lady Ga-Ga after all.
On a more positive note, maybe they will give away digital copies with each vinyl purchase (like the Groop did with Chemical Chords). On another positive note, Apple is introducing the new "iTunes LP" concept:

This is probably not the best occasion for a first post on this forum, but what the hell are you talking about? Unfair of them? Are you guys serious? James and Trish unveil 48 new tracks, share a new radio mix, provide multiple free clips and photos and videos, and you're going to complain about $7.99? Plaese to explain.
