oh yes,th last one rocks I'm so happy they said goodbye to distorted synth, it's like good old broadcast, the idea of layered vocals and choirs also suits their sound N19 is also amazing! |

I know I will buy the hard copy when available, I don't feel I should be expected to spend an additional $8 for a crappy digital only copy. This is probably not the best occasion for a first post on this forum, but what the hell are you talking about? Unfair of them? Are you guys serious? James and Trish unveil 48 new tracks, share a new radio mix, provide multiple free clips and photos and videos, and you're going to complain about $7.99? Plaese to explain. I don't really see it that way. It's a punishment to longtime loyal fans who buy the albums, and rewards casual iTunes listeners who don't care about the quality of the music they buy. Whatever happened to sticking to a release date? It's obviously a money-making gimmick, and our favorite bands are not the only ones hurting from the global economic recession. If they wanted to make it available to us, they could have done a preorder option with a special code to download the mp3 file early.

no, I changed my mind since yesterday. the artwork didn't resonate at all with me, remotely. I do think this is the best thing I've heard from Broadcast. but in the last few months I've developed a disdain for them, too. I've become completely disenchanted with the commercial music scene. It's for imbeciles. I'll buy my obligatory copy but please don't let that reflect on my character. you know I think I know what the problem is, it's just not genuinely abstract enough for me, it's not PRESCIENT or avant-garde. It's just not far-out enough for me. It's a throw back. It's just not macaroni, it's penne or fetuccine. It's just not macaroni enough for me. |

It's really good, I'm just enjoying my first listen of the whole thing at the moment. I reckon it's going to make me want a new Broadcast album even more, with longer songs and whatnot. But this is great stuff too :) |

I think it's good that they've done it this way, because they've beat a leak! Smart I think. And by the way, the bleep.com version is available in a very high quality mp3, or wav file. It's a couple dollars more. Just don't use itunes.
