The mp3 release is an official release, if you've obtained it without paying for it, that is theft, stealing, ripping off Martin and Broadcast.

EXCUSE ME, they work for us!! when someone comes to you begging to sell something , they are at your mercy! WE are the people that buy the product, who cares how much Broadcast or Martin makes. If they've released their album on this format, and especially at itunes they've obviously forfeited their right to fiscal accountability. If they want to make money they could have gone into another field. When I ask my father why he never played music professionally, he answers this, "because I like eating." he's not fat.
Broadcast has volunteered for all the abuse they are due. fuck em. I'll buy my vinyl. and I better get an autograph!! so my vinyl is worth something.
Rip it off. I'll buy my copy and give it away.

So it's okay to "rip off" people you don't know personally. You sound like the Republican party.
I guess no one here has ever recorded a record on a cassette tape, or made a CD-R of a CD, and then given it to someone.
