Re: Margerine Rock

I'm not so sure it is a bad rep. My theory is that as a rule Laetitia's voice is treated like one of the musical instruments on a majority of the songs. This is a trademark of the band and some outsidders don't get it. Perhaps some of the purists on the forum dislike how her voice has so much prominence on this song or it may be that the song is too short. A live performance could perhaps lengthen the song with a jam session and being live the voice would more likely be of even volume with the instruments.

I just remembered one trivia about "Margerine Rock". There are TWO drummers on this song. Simon Johns, a multi instrumentalist as he is, plays the 2nd kit on the studio version. He also played drums for this song live as well while they were touring. Perhaps this song is missing because it's a bit tough to bring along two drumsets on tour?
