Hey, does anyone here know more about these movements? It is pretty easy to find SOME information about the first one, but about the Phases group/movement/revue very few information. Just that it lasted from the '40s or '50s to the '90s (although the last exposition dates from 2008) and it was lead by Edouard Jaguer... Any more information? I'm really, really into Surrealism. ............................................... Re: CoBrA and Phases movements (popeye) Re: CoBrA and Phases movements (hito) |

i was trying to be smartass by searching the internet to give you some insight... then i found this: http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/7498-cobra-and-phases-group-play-voltage-in-the-milky-night/ sorry for getting off topic, bu how could they, i mean i remember seeing other reviews giving them bad grades. it is weird to me that a collective amount of critics were giving them shit. to be it is the one of the top 3 lab products of their career so far ( i wish there will be more to be compared)

It is hard to find anything about this at all. Where did you hear about it (other than the title of the Stereolab album)? |

that album was judged pretty harshly by critics. it's not my favourite album but it's still really good and didn't deserve all the bad press. |
