Cul De Sac/Matnia btw is a brilliant film; dark, quirky and very good visually. Filmed up on Lindisfarne at Lindisfarne Castle. Lindisfarne is an island reachable by causeway at low tide, well worth visiting if you are in the North East of England. Very wind-swept and open to the elements, a haven for lots of birds. The castle has been transformed by architect Edwin Lutyens and very nice. I've only just realised that I had visited the place illustrated on the SD cover.

I have brown orange socks knee high socks. They never reminded me of Cobra; now they forever will and I will enshrine them with my objects des Stereolab. That should be cool. or I could wear them like people wear longish socks.
