I thought at first she was using the tibetan bowl as an analogy of creating layers of sounds but not electronically...but now I'm not sure. With the Erkin Koray enfluence we may heasr some eastern, mid-eastern sounds in her future works? |

Looking forward to the new release. Also curious as to what it will sound like. From the video clips it has that "unplugged" acoustic, which has never been a favorite of mine. That said, I believe lyrically she could pull it off. Stereolab is brilliant, this is good news she relates that this truly is only a hiatus. JOY! In my opinion, the music of the groop always emits a bit of camp. but good camp. My favorite part of the interview is when she invited everyone to bring their dancing shoes to ensure freedom of expression. "Dancing is the best!" I agree. can't wait, can't wait can't wait. I hope she comes and tours because I will definitely get out to see her.

Reading this over it would seem that if and when Stereolab returns it will be Tim's decision. Laetitia is certainly finding her way. Would be nice to see a recent interview with Tim.
