The good thing about politics is...

that at least you really get to learn about someone. Really cut away the outer layers and see what someone is made of, at least if you try to find out why they make the decisions they do. Are they greedy and fearful, or generous and hopeful? Do they think the system is fixable, or should be abolished?

politicians are good people. they have wonderful senses of humor and they're very intelligent. The problem is the lobbyists and the special interest groups which manipulate the politicians via every technological and fiduciary avenue available. The problem isn't the politicians. It's the system. It's capitalism. Capitalism is wrong. It's dirty, it's awful. It's where only the wealthiest survive and have despotism. America is a republic. not a democracy.
capitalism enslaves people.
I am proud to be a prole. I've paid my taxes and I will entitle myself to every government handout that I am eligible for. I believe in America. Hate proles if you must, but I find being under the rule of capitalism more despicable. My family has paid it's taxes for over a hundred years. All the government did was repossess our property because it was valuable and demand us to pay more taxes because we could afford them.
Then I, as a guinea pig, submitted to the treatments and prescriptions of the FDA and the AMA.
The federal government, the USA, owes me money. Quite a bit.
We fought for freedom in their wars, we always pay our taxes, we buy their products and we serve in many capacities as agents and diplomats and so will our offsprings as that is our heritage:social servant.
They owe me a check. a large one. I'm crazy, you know. I have the papers to prove it.
I'm so fortunate to be American.

so the problem isn't politics. politics is hopeless. It's the corporations that control politics. It isn't that politics control and administer corporations; it's the opposite. sometimes I wish I believed otherwise. but any other explanation is a blatant lie. politicians don't govern anything. nothing.
the almighty dollar does. and there's no other explanation. to believe otherwise or have faith in politicians, is to believe in Santa Claus or the Easter bunny. don't delude yourself any longer. free your mind from the constrictions of "society". good luck and god bless

Politicians are hard to read because they are actors. You get to know them when they screw up in their personal lives.
