Pendulum swings way too far in the other direction. Should the guy loose his job over it? I think a personal and public apology would do the trick. I doubt the guy will be doing it again. Lesson learned, MOVE ON. I have a Syrian ancestry and my last name when googled brings up many Arabic search result. I was renting a summer cottage and the people I was renting it from had questions about me after googling my name. I thought it was sad and humorous but never thought they should be "penalized" for it. The guy obviously thought he was off air and even the gentleman, Hashim says he should be forgiven immediately upon apology. What do you think? |
