Philips Living Colours LED lamp

I apologize for posting an infomercial, but these little gizmos are just so cool, and seem like something my fellow Lab-rats would enjoy. Very space-age retro yet modern at the same time. They are a bit pricey* and difficult to find here in the states, but have been available in Europe for a few years now.

*If you must have this lamp, but don't have the cash, I'm sure that thomas2 can make you one out of an old beer can and a candy bar wrapper during his lunch hour ;)

Hmm, 16 million colors would be nice. One for every day of my very long life. :) If I had a couple hundred bucks extra to spend on amazon.com, I'd get one.

I want one! How much are they? 200 bucks? LED is expensive but it will last a long time. wow that's a lot o money. I'm going to order a finger hut catalog! don't laugh! they let you order stuff and pay it off on your credit card for $9.95 a month for six months. the stuff isn't that cool though.

darn it all!

No! they have me on this highly productive stuff during the day and then this stuff that has me sawing logs all night. I mean I've been studying my CAD software like I'm an engineer or something, going to aerobics, I'm like my old self-it's great. I'm doing odd jobs for people.
but the mania, she will come, oh the glorious inner sanctum of secret mania, we will be one again.
