Thanks for the link! I didn't mind the glassed-in Hespeler Library of Cambridge, Ontario (2009-03), but the rest of them are nice and terrible. Now I wish that this could be an "Eyesore of the Week" series instead.

I concurr. The real abomidation is that elementary school without windows.The kids need some natural daylight.


But this one is nothing but cool! I'm riding that bicycle.

thats right around the corner from my sisters house. About 20 mins from my place.

I didnt even know it existed. i think this calls for a road trip.

I agree with most of his rants, but what's his beef with the High Line? I don't get it. It's a fantastic (if slightly over-designed) piece of public space that provides an eye-opening stroll and a much-needed contrast to the surrounding city. Mr. K must have been running low on crummy buildings that month.

I agree, I loved the High Line when I was in NY.

Seems the Standard Hotel that overhangs a pedestrian walkway is also a movie screen...that is...live action! I would hope this was the designer's devious plan.
