Inside your body it is warm, very warm. Now heat up butter or lard and you have a nice slippery lubricant, on the other hand heat up sugar and you have a sticky substance which is very able to clog up your arteries, you don't need qualifications it's common sense. We've been duped for years to believe this food pyramid con and it is killing people, more people have gone vegetarian in the last 20 years than ever before and heart disease is still increasing as is diabetes and cancer, come on WAKE UP stop towing the official line. Kind regards to all, Lereostab. ............................................... Re: CHOLESTEROL Does Not Clog Up Your Arteries. (Mars Rover) Re: CHOLESTEROL Does Not Clog Up Your Arteries. Kind regards to all, Lereostab. i don't think there is even a remote link between more people going vegetarian and the rise in heart disease. i think the map Mu posted has more to do with that.

The only food that I don't like is anchovies. |

Spot on, I like the way it rhymes too. Even when I was a veggie (4 years) I would avoid all the white stuff, I have just had such a huge improvement in my all round health and so has my wife all because of low carb eating, my energy levels are similar to what they were in my twenties, and I'm in my forties now, I also sleep better and think more clearly, Ah the manifold blessings of having stable insulin levels, cheers Joe.

Wait, you think it's as simple as: oil is greasy and sugar is sticky, so oil must lubricate your arteries and sugar must clog 'em? Is that seriously your interpretation? Listen, I'm not necessarily saying your wrong about low carb diets, I don't know enough to judge one way or the other, but I do know it's not quite as simple as that... How did Dr. Atkins die again? Only one guarantee in life...you gonna die!
