I'll vote anything that will help prevent a right-wing party getting in - sadly (after years of supporting them), I now consider the current Labour Party to be right wing, so the Liberals seem the only likely choice, although I'd prefer to vote Green.

I watched the debate last week and have to say I found them even more insubstantial than the American ones. I was sort of shocked, having had the impression you Brits were a bit more cerebral than your American cousins. What gives?
That's the beauty of the PR system we have for the Scottish Government elections. You can vote Socialist and it actually means something.
A lot of us English look north at the Scottish political system with some envy - ridiculous that you had to suffer Thatcher although she never got anywhere near a majority north of the border. If you ever achieve independance I'm sorely tempted to pack bags and move up - claiming citizenship via my 2 Scottish grandparents.
