Re: Heirs to Stereolab

Oh, I didn't intend the question so seriously, I was really just trying to springboard a conversation about what new bands everybody was listening to, that's all.

But just for fun, the main criteria for the heirs to The Groop, in my opinion, would be prolificness (putting out a lot of records), an experimental approach to pop music, and of course, great lyrics.


Animal Collective's project is certainly different from Stereolab's, and The Fiery Furnaces are a brother/sister act, but for me, both fit the bill.
