okay video for an amazing song. the frenetic energy never really carries over into the visual. granted, the director's attempting to capture its trance-like quality but i'm just not convinced. and i'm trying to make sense of the bobby brown reference about midway thru...

I think it's a very good video. The song is ok, but I like it more because of the video.
I haven't even listened to this album more than a couple times. I was so into the last one. But I know how much he switches gears.

if anything i'd say this is more a return to form -- a lot of the songs on 'swim' remind me of 'start breaking my heart', more uptempo w/ a lot more emphasis on beats, though much darker this time around. i'm lovin it, though that last song 'jemelia' seems like it was just tacked onto the end of an already complete album -- he should have released that as a b-side to one of the singles...

i tried getting into caribou, but the vocals are just weak and a little cheesy IMO.
