Re: The Blue Brain Project

the loading takes that long I can't wait that long I don't believe in blue brains blue people. There's alternatives. you just need money. there's animal blood and people blood and fake blood and then just brain operating robotic bodies, etc. That's eras ago. the military has been doing that for years.
Why would I want to sit through an artist rendition of like WWII or WWI technology and communications that's ridiculous and somebody calls that art and they make a dime. that's criminal.

Re: The Blue Brain Project

Do you know the government vibrated/sawed every bone in my grandfathers body off for information/communications sake?
Did you know the last 3 presidents look exactly like my grandfather including Obama??

Re: The Blue Brain Project

ha! you're funny....you just might. I have pics. do you have a social network?? yeah poor Gramps. That's exactly what happened along an intercostal waterway. He was an Air Force Bomber. The government ground his body in cessation of functionality and they got all their money's worth, esp. living on the coast. If they could have ground him to sound they would have. so, pony up your iPOD, devastator.

Re: The Blue Brain Project

god made man in an image of himself...

Now i'm not religious, but if you substitute the word 'god' for 'universe' and think of all the celestial bodies in it as the receptors we know of at the moment in the human brain - isn't there an analogue there?. There are so many more systems we as humans have created in abstract such as radio, tv, the postal system even the internet which are analogues of current thinking on how the human brain works - connections within connections within connections...

Many people have experienced the feeling of a 'oneness' when traveling in space and at near death, indeed the religious concept of communion is based on the idea - and ideas after all stem from the human brain. I really hope the blue brain project succeeds in all it's goals - the human brain is the last frontier in our understanding of ourselves and the universe around and within us.

Thanks for the heads up Dev.

(and Slushy: sincere belated condolences for the passing of your Grandfather)
