"Lyrical departure..."

Fellow labfans. Looks like I'll be having my hands full with lyrics to decipher in the next two months with two albums coming out. So far it doesn't seem like I'll have to translate many French songs as all the ones that have leaked are in English. Anyway, unless there are booklets containing lyrics with the albums, I'll try to transcribe them to the best of my capacity. As usual your help is greatly appreciated to fill in the blanks...enjoy!

i would think that laetitia will include lyrics in the packaging since she actually cares about them. can't say the same for the lab record though...

One Million Year Trip

One Million Year Trip

I lost someone precious
in the depth of my lining,
at the heart of my loss
my little sister's voice
forever muted, inaudible, inerte.
She went on a million year trip,
and left everything behind,
her skin, her hairs.
She has a long way to travel
so I will open my heart,
and let the pain run along
as there is no point in holding on.
Precious little sister,
I open my heart,
pour out the painful laughter
which can only help to heal,
and help me to fly you away,
to take off, the words...
Here I hope you will find solace
that you need,
forever, there's so many...
little sister, I let you go,
take the pain with you,
and throw it in...

Fluid Sand

Fluid Sand

Like a hamster on a wheel
running 'round, and 'round, and 'round
towards the big crowd,
I was not living my true...
My own death was a type of suicide.
It is tragic because I lost you
when really (I love...)
this one has to find the truth
in the giving world.
We began with...
there was one, then two, then three,
as time went on (fluid sand).
So did our desires evolve,
providing a change,
mass was further broken down,
it became shifting sand,
eroding to powder (stagnant mass)
the matter I needed to
start a newer climb.

By The Sea

By The Sea

So hard to say goodbye,
leaving it today,
I said goodbye before,
leaving you alone
by the sea.
We were thrown together,
the world unlike our own,
believing in each other,
we drifted far away
by the sea, by the sea.
Some may say
love comes easy,
unlike love,
ours was empty.
Insincere,
and ever-fading,
your words of love
left me lonely.
One-sided love
is lost before it's found,
a chance that my love
will never become,
never become.
Someone else will love me,
though I may think of you,
it doesn't really matter,
'cause all my love was lost.
In time I may forgive you,
or tell myself a lie,
and leave what never was
another chance to be,
by the sea, by the sea.

World firstly subjected,
phenomenal,
retrieve the road
that leads to
these far-away goals.
Facing the disturbing
riches of life,
... an obstruction,
magic value of protection,
the...chaotic change
leading experience.
Gets lost (gets lost) in it (in it),
gets lost in it,
becomes itself an obstruction.
Posing (posing) itself (itself)
to become an object.
World firstly subjected,
phenomenal,
retrieve the road
that leads to
these far-away goals.
Facing the disturbing
riches of life,
... an obstruction,
magic value of protection,
the...chaotic change
leading experience.
To become an object.
The world has...
coming from the soul,
we can be makers
of such information.

So Is Cardboard Clouds

So Is Cardboard Clouds

Keep on curbing my desire
of deciding, there was a time,
having at "a fault"
is all the joys of freedom.
I'm not ready to back up on
having at "a fault"
is all the joys of freedom.
The pure joys of freedom.

Re: Lyrics

Thanks, DCypher.

Am I remembering right that you used to contribute lyrics to the Koly site as well?

If so, you are welcome to do so again through the same channels as before.

All the Chemical Chords-era songs need lyrics adding, let alone the new stuff!
