No. Once audio (or video for that matter) is put into a lossy format such as MP3, WMP, OGG, etc, the data is already lost. If you convert to WAV or FLAC, the sound quality has not changed and would still sound like the MP3, etc. To make matters worse, you should never re-compress again... so, it would be really bad if you took an WMP and converted to MP3 since quality would be lost twice in that process.

Make sense?

You'll have to re-rip everything to keep the quality from the cd.
