No new purchases of late for me. I liked it. I'm not sure but I might like the self-titled one more (Cat Wants to Be Dog is great). The thing about Macha is that very few of their songs stick in my head. I don't find myself singing them or even remembering the melodies. But while I am listening to the music, I love it. |

Yeah...they're not a band that is going to make any soda pop commercials anytime soon. i understand that. i like their music, the sounds are very original, their influences are intriguing. |

Thievery Corporation: Radio Retaliation Was given a promo CD by DJ Gravy last night, so far it is good. I was also given a data disc with over a GB of Fela Kuti on it. I can't wait to listen to it! noise

just ordered the dvd rerelease of 'la stances a sophie', a 70's french film that features music by the art ensemble of chicago. i always wondered what sort of movie would go with that sort of music... i also ordered the dvd of the film 'mindwalk' by bernt capra....
