Re: Live @ HiFi Bar, Melbourne 2010.12.09

Generously shared on the broadcast forum by corporealclegg:
The whole concert edited into seperate tracks.

"
When I got this from insleepsound, I had edited it into separate tracks. Title help from Teclo for tracks 10 & 11. Melbourne HiFi 9.12.2010, 12 glorious tracks.

http://rapidshare.com/files/443176730/Hi_Fi_Bar__Melbourne_-_9.12.2010.rar
"

Tracklist:

Setlist:

Winter Sun Wavelengths

Corporeal
in here the world begins
Black Cat (w/ spoken word part at the end)
Valerie
Lunch Hour Pops
Royal Chant
The Be Colony/Dashing Home...
A Seancing Song
(Children)
(Eyes Open)

Encore:
You and Me in Time

The encore is marvelous. It is the encore MArtin speaks about in the guardian:

"
Trish fell ill after returning home from Broadcast's first ever Australian dates in December. The last show of the tour, in Melbourne, was particularly special, says [Martin] Pike. "The band went off but the audience kept on screaming," he recalls. "They wanted more but, because of the way the gig was structured, there were no more songs. So Trish just walked back on, on her own, and sang to them a cappella. That was Trish.

It is really heartbreaking.

He also uploaded 10 experimental tracks he'd made along with Broadcast, for those who didn't catch it: http://deerhuntertheband.blogspot.com/2008/05/atlas-sound-meets-broadcast.html

Thank you. My favorite sounds were the tolling bell, the grandfather clock chimes, birds chirping, cats meowing, a ping pong game, walking up a flight of stairs to a foreboding sound and as was appreciated more cow bells in track 10!
