got this straight from a myspace bulletin this morning: 'Dear All, A release that seems to have slipped through - we have pressed up 300 copies of the new LP by Junior Electronics, they are on sale now at the Stereolab shows and should we have any left at the end of the tour we'll make them available via the webshop. Jnr Electronics are / is was Joe Watson - Stereolab's keyboard maestro. Tracks will be up on iTunes very soon as well. Cheerio PIkey' (see, i knew i had a legit reason for keeping my stupid myspace account!) ............................................... Re: junior electronics. (black.ant) Re: junior electronics. I bought one at a gig. I was a little confused when I saw it, until I found out it was a Joe Watson project. It's strange it wasn't announced until now. The LP is great and has a lovely sleeve :) Apart from Joe Watson, also collaborate Laetitia, Simon and Mary Hampton.

Yeah I'm also surprised it hasn't been promoted here before. I like "realtime handmade spaghetti" quite a bit. "Creation in time" is not bad either. |

I bought this at the Madrid gig. The curious front cover and design piqued my curiosity, and, aside from the tour 7", there was nothing there I didn't have. It is a beautiful, beautiful record, I can't help recommending it. It might be a limited release, but the iTunes edition should make it more accessible. Simon Johns plays bass, and Laetitia sings on 3 tracks (the other vocal parts are handled by Mary Hampton). It's a treat, go for it. |

Cheerio PIkey' Guess there's none left then? Been checking the shop every so often. Oh well. If anyone has a rip, that'd be cool. |
