I take your point regarding some of your comments. I think Sound-Dust was probably the band's most 'sophisticated' album. However, I think you do them a great disservice in labeling the Groop as an also ran in the noisy band sweepstakes.

There was a lot of energy in Peng!, half of Space Age Batchelor Pad was melodic, and Transient was an album that stands out on it's own for it's unique sound. By calling them an 'also ran' you imply that other bands were doing the same, only better. Can you please tell me all the bands that you think made an album comparable to Transient, but better?

By the way, MAQ is one of my favourites, and it also contains 'noisy' songs.
