chemical chords lyrics

i haven't seen this mentioned yet - was occurring to me after watching some of the recent interviews where the tension between laetitia & tim is so uncomfortably on the surface... does their son live with laetitia? i can't help feeling the lyrics to chemical chords are kind of an indictment of tim as an absent father (if that's the situation) ... any ideas?

I don't think any of us really know that much about their personal lives, so that's just speculation. The lyrics in the song CC could suggest that though, they're pretty blatant, but it could mean anything, who knows.

Even if Tim is in his child's life (I'd have a hard time believing Laetitia would stay in the band if he wasn't), his kid could be missing him when he's not with him.

My parents were divorced when I was 2, and I saw my father every other weekend, but I sure missed him when I wasn't with him; I idolized him.
