I understand the urge to vent frustrations, but what bothers me about these sorts of "protests" is their aimlessness. What, specifically, are they protesting, and what on earth are they hoping to accomplish?
If they want the government to change the tax code or impose new regulations on the financial industry, then they really ought to focus their energies on pressuring their elected representatives to do just that. If they want specific corporations to end unfair business practices, then they ought to organize a boycott or something...
It seems fitting that Michael Moore has become a spokesman for this - the man seriously wouldn't be able to put together an argument with a coherent thesis if his life depended on it.
