Pavement's 'Brighten The Corners' Nicene Ed. - Stereolab reference.
During Pavement's cover of 'It's a Rainy Day, Sunshine Girl' on the deluxe BTC released last month there is a part where Stephen Malkmus says 'ok break indie rock steve, break into stereolab!' and then the song switches into the one chord - motorik - classic stereolab riff. Humorous.
