Happy Birthday, Mozart!

It's Mozart's birthday today and there have been a few radio programs honoring his works this week. I've been enjoying one myself, in fact it starts in ten minutes. So if you like, revisit Mozart today and wish him a happy birthday. Hold a balloon ceremony, light a candle, watch Amedeus, listen to Falco, or just ignore him. Continue to live your life in the orthodox confinement of a desperate pop pinata.

You know you're use of the phrase "much less" actually has the opposite meaning of what you intended?

O-ver-ra-ted! *stomp, stomp, stomp-stomp-stomp*

O-ver-ra-ted! *stomp, stomp, stomp-stomp-stomp*

Beethoven > Mozart

Dvorak > Mozart

Rachmaninov > Mozart

Haydn...OK, well I'll give you Mozart > Haydn

Still, Mozart surely is the most overrated of all classical composeurs (sic).

Super Furry Animals > Mozart!

I'm a Bach fan. woo-hoo. Mozart is ...good. I was just wishing him happy birthday. My baby Johann has a birthday on March 21st; Him and his wig will be 326. He's my favorite but I like more.

It's odd for anyone to consider him their favorite musician, having never actually heard him play.
