I know a lot of people don't take dance seriously but my favorite work of art is Apollo by Balanchine and music by Igor Stravinsky. I also enjoy Brutalist architecture and the novel Grapes of Wrath. You?

I like Stanzyck by Matejko, a painting I often use and I got a free copy of the Grapes Of Wrath that it is on my reading list.

For visual art it's probably this, Francis Bacon's Triptych inspired by T.S Elliot's Poem "Sweeney Agonistes":

Could you please educate me on Stravinsky? What should I seek?

No. The other day I heard something romantic by him that didn't sound like him at all. I have the Firebird but that's not the best piece I've ever heard by him. I'll look into it. He's good. I enjoy him. Engrossing.

Re: Your favorite work of art?

Personally, I like Keith Haring, Pieter Bruegel, Jean DeBuffet and Joan Miro. Those are by far my favorite visual artists and an inspiration to everything I try to create. Of course, I'm a horrible artist... but I like to think somewhere deep inside me we're kindred spirits.

Penguin Cafe Orchestra and Sean O'Hagan have composed my favorite soundscapes.
