A fundraiser for the indie/comedy legend, Frank Sidebottom. The man underneath the papier mache head, Chris Sievey, sadly, died on June 21st 2010, after a short battle with cancer. Now, the FRANK SIDEBOTTOM STATUE FUND has been set up in an attempt to raise £60,000 for a bronze statue of Frank, which will be placed in Timperley Village as a permanent tribute / memorial. More details about Frank, the fund and how you can donate in the meantime, can be found here.

THE WOLFHOUNDS
Indie legends who released four albums and a series of singles in the late 80s, as well as appearing on the C86 compilation. From their slightly askew pop/rock beginnings, they soon moved into darker Sonic Youth territory, combining raging guitars with elegant compositions. The band reformed in 2005 and have played only a few select gigs since, including the C86 20th anniversary show at the ICA.

LAETITIA SADIER (STEREOLAB)
French musician best-known as the singer of Stereolab, Laetitia Sadier's 2010 album The Trip was an elegant masterpiece with melancholic vocals, graceful arrangements and disarmingly personal lyrics. And she also sang the backing vocals on 'To The End' by Blur!

POCKETBOOKS
This will be our 94th show, our first show in London for four months, and a last chance to see us in town while our 'Carousel' album still counts as being relatively new. We will be playing beautiful melodic pop in a 'Christmas Tree' formation.
