Well, the label were supposed to be sending a promo to him, but I don't know if that ever happened. We did get played on one of those BBC newcomer programmes and their compliance team had to check that we weren't saying anything offensive in the song that's got the French lyrics. Which was kind of a badge of honour thing.

I've had confirmation from the label that it did get sent to Marc Riley's programme (apologies to Dave and everyone at Valentine Records for doubting this in public). Guess Mr Riley's team didn't listen to it, or if they did then they didn't like it.
