the mood has hit and my current psych rock state is sort of tired. I've listened to it all to death. any recommendations? more druggy, less dudes rocking out type of feel. I stumbled upon this today and really enjoyed it. ............................................... Some of those beats sound later than 68. Weird. I also would like more psych rock right now. Exploration is in order. |

I'm pretty sure you weren't looking for "hippies grooving out" - but I feel like posting this anyways, apologies in advance. |

There are so many comps out there to explore, one series I may recommend in this direction would be "Soft Sounds for Gentle People" :) http://rateyourmusic.com/label/pet_records/ These may be a little too far removed from the "rock" aspect though, being more of "sunshine pop" / "hippy" vibe....if so then perhaps the "Rubble" albums are worth checking out (if you don't have those already)? I find lots to enjoy on these :D http://rateyourmusic.com/various_artists/Rubble/ |
