^On the basis of a couple of listens I'd agree strongly with this. The 'staying power' bit might be down to more conventional song structures (the Monade stuff, much as I like a lot of it, could get quite abstract) and the fact that she can play the guitar "properly" now. But that's not meant as a criticism. This certainly feels to me like her strongest and most coherent statement outside of Stereolab to date. It's a record I'm likely to revisit a lot.
