Cry Baby Cry
Revolution #9
Rain
Things We Said Today
A Day In The Life
Long Long Long
Strawberry Fields Forever

...I always assumed I was more a McCartney fan, but this list makes me realise I'm more of a Lennon man - with a couple of Harrisons in there.

Beach Boys- God Only Knows still gives me chills.

Did you watch the Brian Wilson biopic "Love & Mercy"? I saw this last time I flew (admittedly not the best circumstance to watch a film), and really enjoyed it. Paul Dano was actually superb in his role as the younger Brian, and the scenes where the band are in the studio creating a few of his masterpieces are fantastic. Although I should add that the overall tone of the movie was pretty bleak and becomes almost unbearably sad as his psychosis begins to set in. But highly recommended, I think any fan would find it a really moving portrayal.

Re: Your All Time Favourite.... Beatles

I'm not crazy about The Beatles, and I prefer The Rolling Stone's "Their Satanic Majesties Request" (where BJM took their album name from) more than I like Sergeant Peppers, but I do like a little bit of The Beatles later psych stuff.

Let me double up on the thanks for this one, Hobo! I picked up those first two Seeds albums, and they're fantastic - especially "Up in Her Room":
