I recieved cobra in the mail. a balance betweeen earnestness and contrivition to perfection. mastersone philosophic lyrics about has divine and what's transcendental : ie; the prime dissilusionist aspect of possibitlities and the folly af the unattained.

"Maybe at some point, we won't be able to sustain ourselves doing music, so we'll have to go and do something else." Interesting, is she saying they don't do anything else for income? I've always been curious about that, but I don't spend much time reading interviews or researching about artists' private lives...

Sue, Tim Gane once stated that his proudest achievement was "avoiding work for 20 years" (this was 1999, so now it's more like 30, haha). Tim Gane has always detested wage labor! And I think so has Laetitia. In fact, "Spacemoth" talks about how shitty it is to submit yourself to a job you dislike. Wage labor is a perversion, pure and simple. But perhaps if you're lucky, you can make it as a freelancer or doing a bit of business on your own.

Except making your money with music, ofcourse.

"We just stopped at a truck stop and had some horrible lunch. The choice was McDonald's, Subway, A&W, Kentucky Fried Chicken or Taco Bell." "They don't know that maybe they could benefit from socialism and a good health care system and not have to pay $600 a month that won't even cover them if they don't have the right illness at the right time. And that's where the evil is as far as I'm concerned." Laetitia knows Joe Sixpack.

We "Mericans" do have a facination about things that are worldly. We have an appreciation for the roots of the things that we have here which originated in foriegn countries. It's about being an ingredient in this melting pot and how this part relates to the whole. On a related note Joe Sixpack loves the dreamy sounds of Laetitia during a morning beer buzz and Soccer Mom loves those upbeat, uplifting and bouncy tunes on Chemical Chords.
