I'm suprised you didn't hear them back in 92 when In Ribbons came out. They played them on 120 Minutes; one of the greatest shows of all-time. The bass player left and the chick that sings Blue Flower continued w/ one more LP which was quite a bit poppier and not as dark. I traded for a bootleg VHS of one of their shows; they come off a lot more rock band live, but it was still ok. I was really suprised to discover the bass player/singer was a male b/c his voice sounds like a female; really an androgynous band as the singer had short hair-cut. I'll have to do some research and do a "Where are they now" post :)
