I miss the drones as well, but I've learned to accept the change and I like the new stuff as well. All things must pass, as they say.

I suppose you also must like the Velvet Underground and Can.

I've been getting back into Spirtualized, and then I'll start checking into Spacemen 3 some more eventually. :)
